Founded in 1933 by Louis Gambert de Loche, Cave de Tain benefits from the expertise of nearly 300 winegrowers spread over about 1,000 hectares of vines. Since its creation, the successive generations of winegrowers have made the company grow, which is a pioneering and leading winery in the northern Rhone Valley. On the left bank of the Rhône, the Hermitage hill dominates the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. On the right bank, are the vineyards of Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Saint-Péray.
