The Château starts its wine activity in 1830 with the family Payet Fellet with 11 hectares planted in Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In 1935, Mr Payet Fellet (3rd generation of the familly) created and built the Cooperative Winery in Monségur. He is one out of the 5 creators of the cave. The twins Jacques and Philippe have been running the Château Peynaud Bagnac and its 46 hectares of vines until 2022 and are gradually handing over to their son-in-law Pierrick.
