Initial de Desmirail

Since the 17th century, the name DESMIRAIL has been associated with the Médoc vineyards. Jean Desmirail gave his name to the estate of his wife, Mademoiselle Rausan du Ribail. Later acquired by Mr. Sipière, the steward of Château Margaux, it became a Third Grand Cru Classé in 1855. In 1992, Lucien Lurton passed it on to his son Denis, who modernized its 40 hectares through sustainable viticulture.
