Le Relais de Durfort-Vivens

Château Durfort-Vivens owes its name to the Durfort de Duras, a prominent family from southwest France. Classified as a Second Growth in 1855, it was purchased in 1937 by the company owning Château Margaux. In 1961, Lucien Lurton acquired and restored the estate. In 1992, his son Gonzague modernized the operations to enhance the unique qualities of this exceptional terroir.
