AOP JURANCON DOUX CHATEAU LES ASTOUS VENDANGES TARDIVES

The mention «Vendanges tardives» was granted in 1994 by the national committee of the INAO. It imposes the harvest on plots chosen for their terroir and controlled by a commission. Grapes picked manually in over-ripening after passing. Delicately pressed to preserve all its qualities. Aged 18 months on fine lees. Enjoy as an aperitif to accompany foie gras toast, smoked salmon, cooked white meats, risottos, cheese platters and desserts. A wine that will improve up to 20 years.
