This wine, made from Grenache and Syrah grapes grown in clay-limestone soils with a southerly exposure, benefits from rigorous plot selection and manual harvesting. The wine is made by traditional maceration, followed by 12 months' ageing in vats. It has a dark, brilliant colour, a nose of red and black fruit, and a round, full palate with silky tannins. Ideal with grilled meats, red meats, game, lamb and cheeses.
