Rising from the clay-limestone soils around Saint-Chinian, this wine, made from 65% Grenache (35 years old) and 35% Syrah (15 years old), is produced by hand harvesting and traditional maceration. Aged for 12 months in vats, it reveals aromas of red fruits in alcohol, laurel and garrigue. On the palate, it combines roundness, power and complexity, with an ageing potential of 2 to 5 years. Ideal with grilled meats, red meats, game and cheeses. Available in rosé and white.
